We are the Leighton Fun Runners running club, based in Leighton Buzzard, Beds, UK.
We meet at Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre at 7:20pm on Tuesdays. As our name suggests, we focus on the "fun" side of running by organising events, running a championship and being as friendly as possible to one and all.  Read the  welcome pack, explaining our aims, events, races and our latest newsletter

CURRENT NEWS
 *******************************************
Many of you may not be aware that this year is the 25th Anniversary of the Leighton Fun Runners. So we are holding a celebratory weekend on 5th and 6th July. On the 5th we are planning a relay run, followed by a barbecue. On Sunday 6th, we are planning a morning gentle jog, followed by a cooked breakfast. Also as part of the celebration, we are offering polo shirts in red or black, sizes s, m, and l for men and xs, s, m, and l for women. Price of £15.50, contact Andy Hully. A sample was available at the AGM and presentation night, held on 16th April. Check out Events for a report on the night, including membership details.

Just a small note to say that the Tuesday pub night has changed pubs! For those who wish to, after the first Tuesday of the month, there is an informal drink session in the Hare. Talking of drink, follow the link for 70s disco (above) to see the effects (new photos added). Remember that the annual membership is now due for the new year - please download and complete the membership form (link at top of page). We also have introduced the cross country only membership (see About Us).

The London Marathon results are out promptly again this year. Follow the link below to see how our 14 runners did this year. Great times for everyone. This year our nominated charity for the club marathon runners is PACE, a charity for children with disorders such as cerebral palsy. Read more about PACE here

Remember to wear reflective kit when running in the dark weather - check the kit page
