Course Description –Pretty flat trail race with one hill up to Great Brickhill.

Flat along the canal from Tiddenfoot until crossing over and taking the hill up to Great Brickhill. After that its undulating and hard going through the mud in Rushmere woods, until exiting out back onto the canal. Then a flat 3 miles to the end.

Water and Fuel Stations – at the Globe pub and at Great Brickhill.

Why I chose this race –local event

Organisation - Race HQ is at Cedars School, and has toilets and changing, but no bag drop. Ample car parking.

Feedback Summary – Great local event with a good course and a large club turnout. As you come out of the woods back onto the canal you realise its only 2.7 miles to the end and can start picking up the speed again and it felt like a fast last mile or so. Despite the rain, this was a fantastic, well organised event. A must-do for next year.

Will I be back - Absolutely!
