Since the mid-nineties thIMG_0134Ae team have been helping both athletes and the general population improve in their sport and general fitness. Over the years we have worked with many different people, from correcting many a knee problem for the marathon runner, working with junior athletes to improve their future involvement in sport, easing back pain and working with top athletes for competition.

With training, we tend to keep doing things we think we need, rather than doing what we need to do. Often we get information overload from friends, the internet and magazines and you are pulled in different directions with your training, only to end up months down the line with little improvement. Training takes time, commitment, consistency and a great program to get results.

We have worked with athletes and many sports clubs over the years, training athletes to move better, improving speed and agility to football and rugby clubs, running courses on strength and conditioning for the mixed martial artist, to working with the general public setting up programmes for home training.

Improving fundamental movement skills are essential for athlete development in sport at all ages; using the Dynamic movement Skills (DMS) system helps us to improve these qualities, which are often under developed.

With many people taking up running for fun or for competition having a good running technique can improve performance and prevent many injuries.  We now provide running technique training for the runner or field athlete and see it as a skill that needs to be taught. Pilates has helped many people strengthen their core and improve their quality of life through this exercise method, and we provide weekly sessions.
