LEIGHTON FUN RUNNERS

CROSS COUNTRY RULES Last Updated: 30 April 2007

1. Five races in total, usually 11:00am start, but check with club diary

2. Numbers are pre-allocated and must be retained for each race

3. Club Vests or T-shirts must be worn - check here for kit list

4. Race Fees of £10 per season, no guests

5. Teams must score 3 ladies (minimum 1 vet) and 7 men (minimum 2 vets) and optionally 1 second claim runner; insufficient team members score runners in last place

6. Food and showers (not always available) are normally provided free.

The club runs its own cross country championship with points for positions:

Ladies score 4 points for 1st, 3 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd , and 1 point for others
Men score 8 points for 1st, 7 points for 2nd, ...., 2 points for 7th, 1 point for others

Prizes are awarded for first, second and third in both ladies and men categories.
