Course Description – stunning trails and tracks of the world-renowned Coed y Brenin forest in the Snowdonia National Park. Taking in fully marked trail single track, forest roads and paths in some of the most stunning forestry and heathland in the UK.

Reality of Course Description – accurate and also very hilly as takes place at the North Wales mountain bike centre. 570m of ascent but feels so much more than that (the marathon has 1060 metres of ascent). Singl

Water and Fuel Stations – 6 & 10 miles (a third at 3 miles if the weather is very hot)

Why I chose this race – close to where my friends live, love the scenery

Tips for next time – be fitter to run up and down more of those massive hills, put on mozi spray ‘cos of the bugs.
