Following the usual club runs in the week, it was a weekend full of events.
parkrun Day saw LFRs at Luton Wardown, Hamstead Heath, Linford Wood, Houghton Hall, Seaton, Buckingham, Rushmere and Dunstable Downs.
Emma and Wes took to the track to complete 106 laps and ANOTHER marathon. Nuts! Jamie Stamp galloping 21 miles through mud at Grindleford in the Peak District. 3000ft of climbing. Wow! And Team Turner in the midst of the current climate decided to run their own half marathon on Sunday rather than the planned Hampton Court Half. They're still getting their medal!
Saturday was the return of the Ashridge Boundary Run. Perfect running conditions with plenty of hills and mud for the gang. They all loved it!
And Team LFR made their way to the MK Festival of Running on Sunday where we had runners in the 10K and the Half and some superb results inclduing Ian Bisby running his first half marathon event for 14 years and ran a brilliant PB of 1.32!
That's all for this week. We are running in uncertain times right now...stay safe LFR.
